Peer Review Process

A solid peer-review process is the backbone of any good journal. We at International Journal of Solution-Focused Practices are committed to providing you a high-quality independent assessment of the article you submit. We regard this as us contributing to your article in the best way we can. This is our commitment to you who consider submitting your article - we will give your article a solid peer review that will give you the chance to write the best possible article.

Peer review is a process of assessment of manuscripts; it often refers to a process used to assess articles submitted to an academic journal. Our peer reviewers are knowledgeable in solution-focused practices and are academic scholars experienced in writing and reviewing articles.

Peer Review

• Articles are initially screened by the editor to make sure they follow the outlined guidelines (when applicable) for the format and have relevance for this journal. Accepted articles are then reviewed by experts in the solution-focused approach.

• All initially accepted articles are peer reviewed.

• Articles are assessed by peer reviewers in their areas of expertise.

• Following this, authors discuss the review comments with the editor.

• Final decisions about the acceptance and refusal of the article for publication are the responsibility of the Editor in Chief.

• No peer reviewers will be involved in the review process of an article in which they have previous knowledge, or a direct or indirect conflict of interest.

Tips to prepare the paper

• We recommend that all authors recruit an additional colleague to assist in the writing process by reading and re-reading the text and commenting on it.

• To write a paper takes time, so we recommend authors setting the text aside a week or two when possible in order to gain fresh perspective
